Rusatom Service JSC and Škoda JS (the Czech Republic) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The companies agreed to cooperate in repairing welded joints of steam generator vessels for VVER-440 units designed in Russia.

The goal of the present MoU is to evolve cooperation between the companies and identify specific projects for interaction.

The MoU was signed on 20 June 2017 at Atomexpo IX International Forum in Moscow. The MoU was signed by Director General Evgeny Salkov, on the side of Rusatom Service JSC, and Chairman and CEO Josef Perlik, on the side of Škoda JS.



Rusatom Service JSC is part of electrical power division of ROSATOM. The company provides cross-border NPPs with VVER with a full range of services and supplies necessary for operations, maintenance and repair. The company is present in almost all the countries with NPPs with VVER in operation outside Russia.

Rusatom Service JSC has a leading position in the markets of China, Iran, Bulgaria and Armenia. It is a general contractor for lifetime extension, scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment upgrade for NPPs with VVER. Rusatom Service JSC has a portfolio in international markets with a value of around 500 million USD.
