June 19, 2017, Moscow - – On the sidelines of the IX International Forum ATOMEXPO 2017, The State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM and the French company AREVA NP signed a Memorandum of Understanding

The document was signed by Alexey Likhachev, the Chief Executive Officer of ROSATOM, from the Russian side, and Bernard Fontana, CEO of AREVA NP, from the French side.

The Parties also signed the Cooperation Program that concerns key areas of mutual interest.

These documents are aimed to ensure the continuation and further improvement of long-term cooperation between Rosatom and AREVA NP in the field of fuel fabrication, automated process control systems, as well as maintenance of equipment and machines for the nuclear power plants.

The signing of this MoU demonstrates the mutual striving of two Companies for co-operation.
