On June 19, 2017, Private institution “Rusatom International Network” (Private institution RAIN) and Kazakh ANTARES Group of companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Strategic Cooperation on the sidelines of the ninth International Forum ATOMEXPO 2017 in Moscow.
The Memorandum was signed by Alexander Merten, President of Private institution RAIN and Igor Tarasov, Chairman of the Board of ANTARES.



The Parties are planning joint participation in the projects covering the construction of small-scale hydro-electric facilities, and usage of nuclear solutions for medicine and agricultural sector, as well as cooperation in isotope products supplies to Kazakhstan.

Besides, the Companies intend to promote state-of-the-art Russian project management solutions and services for sophisticated facilities engineering and construction in Kazakhstan and other countries of Central Asian Region.

“The objective of Private institution RAIN and its Regional Centers is to search for customers, investors and partners for the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM, and to assist in partnership building. ANTARES group of companies and we intend to extend comprehensive cooperation in those non-nuclear areas that are in demand in the Region. I am confident that this partnership relations are fully in line with Kazakhstan development strategic objectives indicated just last week by Nursultan Nazarbayev during Astana EXPO-2017 opening ceremony,” said Alexander Merten, President of Private institution RAIN.

“We, as a representative of Kazakhstan private business sector, are interested by the innovative integrated solutions offered by the State Corporation ROSATOM. For instance, the multipurpose agricultural product treatment center that provides better storage life and as a result allows preserving high quality of the produced goods,” commented Igor Tarasov, Chairman of the Board of ANTARES.
