On June 20, TENEX and Synatom have agreed to prolong the existing long-term contract on deliveries of enriched uranium product (EUP) during the 11th International Forum ATOMEXPO. The relevant document was signed by TENEX General Director L.M. Zalimskaya, Synatom Chairman Ph. Van Troeye and CEO R. Leclère. It envisages prolongation of the contract till 2022 and increases volume of the exported EUP.

“We highly appreciate cooperation with our long-standing partner Synatom and consider the concluded arrangements as consolidation of our long-term relations“, - noted TENEX General Director L.M. Zalimskaya.


Background Information: Established in 1969, Synatom is responsible for the EUP procurement for two Belgian NPPs (seven units with installed capacity of 5.9 GW). TENEX has been supplying uranium products to Synatom since 1975.
