NOVOVORONEZH, Russia - The bucolic town of Novovoronezh with its manicured lawns, duck ponds, tree-lined streets and newly-built sports facilities looks like something out of “Picket Fences” or “Wayward Pines”. The small town, which is located 45 kilometres of the historical, river-straddling city of Voronezh and the administrative center of the oblast, houses the workers and families of Rosatom’s Novovoronezh nuclear power plant.
