The training course "Global Nuclear Safety and Security: IAEA Safeguards and Nuclear Security" has been completed at the Rosatom Technical Academy. It was organized by the Institute of Global Nuclear Safety and Security of the Rosatom Technical Academy for experts working at nuclear industry enterprises and dealing with issues of international cooperation with the Agency in the field of nuclear security.

During the course, instructors of the Institute, experts of the IAEA and ROSATOM shared with the audience theoretical knowledge and practical experience in ensuring international security, non-proliferation and safeguards, told about the international regulatory framework, and considered other issues.

The participants noted the relevance of the course and gave recommendations for the development of the training programs on similar topics. "We hope for a long-term cooperation. Nuclear industry experts are always needed. We will meet, discuss topical issues and exchange experience," Ruslana Kurdyumova, a specialist of the Department for Ensuring the Security of Foreign Facilities of ROSATOM, shared her opinion.
